Our Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Team

Who is Muddy Paws Dog Walking & Pet Sitting?

Our team is just that, a team. We work individually, but support each other along the way with advice, tips for walking certain dogs, and backup coverage. Our experience with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and general quirks enable us to customize visits so that our furry friends thrive! Whether you are looking for a consistent dog walking schedule or on an as-needed basis, Muddy Paws is ready to help. We offer a variety of services for different needs.

Choose the schedule and services you want, and we will do the rest.

Jena Howard Muddy Paws

Hey there, I’m Jena Howard, CEO – Canine Enjoyment Officer of Muddy Paws, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Over 9 years ago, I started Muddy Paws to provide quality dog walking services to people in the Greater Boston area. While between corporate jobs, I decided to do something I loved to keep busy and earn money. I started dog walking locally and things quickly took off. I made business cards, signed up new clients, and and built a reputation as an honest, trustworthy, caring, dog walking (and feeding and loving) service provider.

As my passion-project morphed into a business and I continued to go on interviews, I quickly realized that Muddy Paws was more than an in-between job, this was my career calling! Building a business around my love for dogs, being active, and helping families was what I was meant to do all along. And so it began…

Muddy Paws has walked thousands of dogs in the greater Boston area. Our team is currently 27 dog lovers strong and comprised of top notch, trustworthy, trained, professionals (all with flawless background checks!). We show up as scheduled, will help you out if you’re in a bind, and are all about customer service. We’re here for you (and your pets!).

Muddy Paws is about more than dog walking. We’re about taking the BEST care of your dog. Much like you wouldn’t leave your kids with a random person off the street (we hope), we wouldn’t expect you to leave your dog with just anyone either.
