How We Hire at Muddy Paws
We’re intentional about who joins our team. Every Muddy Paws walker completes a multi‑step hiring process that includes an application review, interviews, background and reference checks, and hands‑on training before ever stepping onto a route. We don’t skip steps, and we don’t rush hires.
We look for people who are reliable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to handle dogs safely in real‑world environments. Midday availability is required, and while experience helps, consistency, judgment, and professionalism matter more.
Our team‑based model means dogs and owners aren’t dependent on one person. Walkers follow the same standards, use the same safety equipment, and communicate clearly, ensuring consistent care even when schedules change.
We hire carefully so owners don’t have to worry — and dogs get safe, reliable care every day.
